The Inland Auto Dismantlers Association (IADA) was founded in 1960. IADA was founded in 1960 by Dick Merrill, Tom Harder and Bernie Coughlin. Encompassing both the San Bernardino and Riverside counties, the chapter covers a vast expanse that includes part of the Mojave Desert. In 1963, the IADA hot line was started by Dick and Dotty Merrill.
